 "Where the heck did you get the name Hi-Way Fruit Market?"
Our name was taken from a business that operated in Vestal for many years. Actually, we're really paying homage to the music store, The Guitar Center, which was located upstairs over the Hi-Way Fruit Market. Most of the band is made up of family members, all of whom spent their youth growing up in that music store, so the band's name has lots of memories and legend behind it.
